Description

VLA26 Vega Chair is designed by Vilhelm Theodor Lauritzen for Carl Hansen & Søn with black powder coated steel frame, seat and back in oak veneered wood in several finishes with matching feet except for the chair in black lacquered oak that features feet in transparent lacquered oak. 

Available in two models VLA26T only veneered or VLA26P with seat and back padded in foam and covered in fabric or leather.

 

Created in 1956, the VLA26 Vega Chair, lightweight and stackable, has previously only been found in Vega's concert halls, is now available to a wider audience for the first time; it has been put into production by Carl Hansen & Søn in partnership with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, who are celebrating their 100 year anniversary in 2022. The reissued chair is a modernist masterpiece, characterized by a simple and functional design yet imbued with personality.
