The VLA76 armchair was one of the furnitures designed in 1945 to decorate the foyer of the Radiohuset in Copenhagen, home of the national radio station Danmarks Radio. The collection called Foyer series, is produced today by Carl Hansen & Son in collaboration with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, it includes the two-seater sofa VLA77 and the bench VLA75; the furnitures have been reintroduced paying great respect to the original design that makes them timeless but adapted to the present needs. The VLA76 armchair is basic but elegant, with an oak frame divided into three parts, and cushions which seem almost floating and ensures a comfortable seat.
