Toku parasol designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Paola Lenti with solid cedarwood frame with stainless steel details. Cover panels and sliding vertical curtains in Thuia fabric. Seat panels, available with fixed or adjustable backrest, with marine plywood structure and Wara fabric cover. Removable mattress, padded with expanded polyurethane, with fixed polyester water-repellent lining and a removable fabric cover. Available in two sizes (188x94 cm or 94x94 cm), with an optional backrest cushion and support pillow upon request. Available in two sizes: CA19D with two seats and CA19A with four seats.
Designed to provide both shade and comfort, the Toku structure is available in configurations with two or four seating elements. In the CA19A version, the platform consists of four removable seat panels: two with a fixed backrest and two with a manually adjustable backrest that can be set in two positions, in addition to a fully reclined resting position. These panels can be arranged in different configurations—aligned parallel to each other, grouped in pairs, or positioned perpendicularly—offering flexibility in spatial arrangement.
The Thuia fabric covering on the structure’s horizontal overhanging sections is removable, making maintenance and cleaning effortless. The central canopy is also detachable and can slide along Toku’s uprights, transforming into vertical curtains that can be adjusted in height, allowing for customizable shade and privacy.
The Toku collection —including the sunshade, lounger, and bench— draws inspiration from Japanese aesthetics. It harnesses the natural elegance of solid wood to create a refined outdoor lounge area, where simplicity meets modern sophistication.
