Born in 1962 in Lokeren, Belgium, Vincent Van Duysen has crafted his artistic and professional journey with a degree in Architecture from the Higher Institute of Architecture at Sint-Lucas in Ghent.

With a career that began by collaborating with prominent figures such as Aldo Cibic in Milan and Jean De Meulder in Antwerp, Van Duysen founded his studio in 1990. Since then, he has led a team of over 20 talents, transforming his studio into an internationally renowned entity.

Van Duysen's approach to projects, both in architecture and product design, is grounded in essentiality and purity. The minimalism in his works is not cold but elegant, with a profound awareness of spaces and their articulations. Each product conceived by Van Duysen is part of a harmonious whole, where nothing is superfluous.

In addition to the numerous accolades received over the years, including the Flemish Culture Prize for Design, Vincent Van Duysen was named Designer of the Year in 2016 during the 25th Silver Edition of the Biennale Interieur in Belgium. Since 2016, he has been the creative director of the prestigious brands Molteni&C and Dada, making significant contributions to their image through the design of flagship stores. In 2018, he collaborated with the artistic team at Kvadrat for the development of the Sahco brand.
