The Pod Lounge chair is designed by CRS Paola Lenti for Paola Lenti with an internal structure in varnished stainless steel AISI 316 and four feet made of plastic material. The padding is made of recyclable expanded polyethylene mixed with Aerelle® blue polyester fiber, with a fixed inner lining made of water-repellent polyester.
The seat cushion and back cushion are covered in a two-toned knit fabric, the new exclusive Costa Inglese by Paola Lenti for outdoor use. The Pod series also includes a platform.
The lounge armchair takes on an original form that evokes an open and curious approach to the concept of design, departing from superstructures and predefined conventions. The low seating position gives the project an informal touch, highlighting the contemporaneity of the "disassembled" comfort idea that Paola Lenti has always sought. Special attention is given to eco-sustainability by using recycled materials from single-use plastics, which are collected before they pollute rivers and oceans. These materials are then processed through a modern industrial process, certified with the EU Ecolabel and guaranteed in their traceability according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
