Palinfrasca armchair is designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Molteni&C with frame in painted stainless steel with plastic material ferrules ans structure in solid teak in a natural finish and band weaves with teak coulped or EVA polyurethane.
Seat cushion padded in differentiated density shaped polyurethane, cover in waterproof polyester fibre, with upholstery in fabric; back cushion (suggested) in polyester fibre and fabric cover.
The themes that identify the Landmark Collection - the curved, enveloping lines of the solid teak frame that give an intense feeling of comfort and the woven weave-warp pattern in macro-scale - remain in the Palinfrasca armchair and, thanks to the more compact proportions, become even clearer and more expressive. The curved backrest is like an embrace that envelops the user, enhancing the idea of protective and cosy comfort.
The Palinfrasca seating system includes: three sofas in different widths, end elements, corner elements and chaise longue always in two lengths; a smaller sofa, characterized by a deep and engaging seat and a large and scenic circular island element, as well as an armchair and ottoman. These elements can be placed side by side to create configurations that are always different, can be moved as desired, and can be reassembled.
