The Florence Knoll seating collection consists of sofas and armchairs characterized by wide seats and soft and elegant lines, inspired by the 70s. The series takes its name from the architect who designed it in 1954. Starting from the 1940s, Florence has worked with her husband Hans Knoll to spread the new concept of architecture and design in the United States, inspired by the style of the Bauhaus.
The individual furnishings thus become an integral part of the architecture, with the aim of bringing the modernist style, already in use for the exterior of the buildings, even inside them. Those that were born as furniture designed for modern offices quickly became icons of design, perfect even in residential interiors.
