Platner coffee table is designed by Warren Platner for Knoll with frame in vertical steel rods welded to circular horizontal and edge-framing rods in bright Nickel, bronze and 18k Gold finishes; top in transparent or bronze glass with beveled edge or marble.

The Platner coffee table manages to capture the "decorative, gentle and graceful" shapes that were beginning to infiltrate the modern vocabulary while maintaining the main features of the homonymous collection designed by the American architect for Knoll with a structural and, at the same time, decorative base, made with thin shaped steel rods that reproduce a moiré pattern and recall a "decorative, gentle, graceful design that appeared in a period style like Louis XV".
Each piece requires over a thousand welds to join the steel rods, demonstrating that high technology and the finest craftsmanship are fundamental allies in the modern design industry.
The Platner coffee table, available in various sizes and finishes, can be easily used in combination with the Platner armchair and the Platner Easy Chair. The collection also includes a stool, chair with armrests and dining tables.
