Serie 7 - 3107 chair is designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen with shell in pressure moulded veneer, front padded with polyurethane foam. 4 chromed or powder coated steel legs mounted to a circular disc beneath the seat; black support spacers and black cover cap and leg ferrules of black synthetic material.
The front of this chair is upholstered and covered in fabric or leather; the shell is available in 10 natural veneers, coloured ash or lacquered ash, in 16 different colours.
Designed in 1955, the 3107 chair, also known as Series 7, is one of Fritz Hansen's masterpieces, an icon in scandinavian design and modern furniture history, it has became such popular that at the Moma, Museum of Modern Art in New York is exhibited its prototype.
