Grand Prix 4130 chair is designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen with shell in pressure moulded veneer - 9 layers in total - with the two outer layer in oak, walnut or coloured ash in 3 colours: white, black and nine grey.
Base with wooden legs, laminated beech veneer of 23 layers with outer layers matching the shell finishing.
This fully wooden chair, an other model of Grand Prix, was introduced at the Designers’ Spring Exhibition at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in 1957, togher with 3130 chair with steel legs; later that year, it was exposed at the Milan Triennale where it gained the Grand Prix prize and therefore its current name.
Many years later, the design lover are still sought after the Grand Prix 4130 chair which is one of the most for its unique and immortal shape and its robust and durable seat.
