Ant 3101 dining chair is designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen with base with four legs in chromed or powder coated tubular steel mounted with black support spacers and with black synthetic material glide. Structure made of pressure moulded veneer, available in three version: natural veneers (10 types); coloured ash; lacquered ash (16 colours).
The 3101 stackable chair, known as Ant for its a close resemblance to the insect, has been designed as the evolution of the 3100 with three legs and it keeps it main features: thin and minimal shape with seat and backrest joined in a single shell with a peculiar narrow waist that increases the flexibility of the backrest and avoids a crack in the intersection. Thanks to the fourth legs you can stack up to 12 chair - four more compared with 3100.
The Ant 3101 is a resistant chair with a unique shape and infinite possibilities of use both in homes and in work environments or collective spaces such as canteen or auditoriums; when used in this kind of ambience the chairs can be equipped with linking device that allow to set it in line.
