No. 1 Sofa is designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia with inner frame in solid wood and plywood upholstered with High Resilience foam; feet in solid oak mounted with metal threads. Cushions padded in HR foam, with upholstery in fabric and decorative buttons on both side.

No. 1 Sofa marked the start of a close collaboration between Mogensen and Fredericia, he designed a sofa with a masterful sense of material and proportion and, with clean angular armrests, he emphasized the horizontal and vertical lines that draw the profile. The loose, interchangeable buttoned cushions soften the solid upholstered wooden frame. All reflect Mogensen's goal to create furniture that enhance people’s everyday lives.
