Ditzel Lounge Chair is designed by Nanna Ditzel for Fredericia with legs in solid wood, in various finishing, mounted directly into the chair frame with metal thread; structure upholstered with high pressure foam and enforced with steel frame, with leather, fabric or bucleé cover and decorative piping, available, as optional, in leather - Black, Cognac or Natural - when upholstered in fabric. 

 

For this Lounge Chair Nanna teamed up with her husband, Jørgen; they designed a chair with the aim of allowing people to think and sit in a new ways. The Ditzel Lounge chair features a sculptural, organic silhouette inspired by nature, balanced by splayed wooden legs as a playful touch. Its great seat, gently curved back and armrests are adding extra comfort.

Although it was designed in 1953 it is still a very up-to-date lounge chair that invites to escape into a cosy yet spacious comfort zone and offers a stylish seating solution for settings in search of intimacy, especially in those context that, on the contrary, encourage connectivity such as hotel lobbies, reception areas, high-end lounges and private residences.
