Description
Description

The Teahouse table is designed by Christophe Pillet for Ceccotti Collezioni with solid American walnut base and a poplar plywood top with walnut veneer.

A refined blend of minimalist aesthetics and Eastern tradition, Teahouse draws inspiration from the Japanese tea ceremony—a ritual of hospitality, contemplation, and shared presence. Created to foster a calm and intimate atmosphere, the table stands out for its unconventional proportions: its narrow form and low height encourage a relaxed posture, promote free arm movement, and invite informal, close conversation.

The tabletop is slightly raised above the base, with beveled edges that soften its visual presence and evoke a sense of lightness and suspension. The solid walnut structure, crafted with exceptional artisanal precision, consists of a four-legged trestle connected by a central crosspiece—adding both stability and harmony to the design. This architectural detail, a signature element throughout the collection, is both functional and aesthetic, underscoring the pursuit of balance and formal purity.

Ideal for both residential and professional settings, Teahouse fits seamlessly into living rooms, waiting areas, or offices—becoming a discreet yet distinctive gathering point around which authentic gestures of hospitality take shape.
