The Teahouse cabinet is designed by Christophe Pillet for Ceccotti Collezioni with solid American walnut frame with veneered plywood elements. Available in two versions: the standard model with one internal shelf and four compartments per door; and the accessorized version, which includes a drawer unit, a top organizer divided into three sections, and five removable wooden boxes of varying heights per door.
Christophe Pillet’s Teahouse collection draws inspiration from the refined Japanese ritual of the tea ceremony, envisioning each moment of pause as a shared experience steeped in calm and elegance. Rooted in this philosophy, Teahouse is a sophisticated piece crafted from solid American walnut, defined by a minimalist frame enhanced by precision-crafted artisanal details. The legs, joined by an elegant X-shaped crosspiece, offer structural support while reinforcing the cabinet’s light yet architecturally defined aesthetic.
Every element contributes to its unique character—starting with the custom-designed hinges in burnished solid brass. Upon opening, a meticulously organized interior unfolds: the doors conceal eight small shelves, each fitted with a removable solid wood box, magnetically attached, ideal for holding teacups or small jars of tea. The upper interior section features a three-compartment tray designed to neatly store teapots and cups, ensuring both order and practicality. Below, a drawer accommodates precious accessories, while a pull-out tray provides a stage for serving, complemented by an additional surface for support.
Teahouse is an invitation to the pleasure of togetherness. Designed for those who wish to elevate the daily ritual of tea into a shared aesthetic experience, this cabinet can also be used as a stylish bar. It seamlessly blends lightness and elegance, merging traditional cabinet-making with a refined, contemporary design language.
