Treflo table is designed by Ronan Bouroullec for Cassina with sculptural base crafted from rigid polyurethane with an internal structure and counterweight in black-painted metal, finished in either a glossy or matte lacquer. The tabletop is available in lacquered MDF to match the base—paired with a matte black HPL underlayer—or in thermoformed extra-clear tempered glass, back-lacquered with a rounded “soap” edge and a matte black lacquered MDF underlayer. The glass top is exclusively combined with the glossy lacquered base. Available in a variety of sizes, Treflo comes with either a round or oval top.
Sinuous, dynamic geometries define Treflo, a table that balances a crisp formal language with a poetic sensibility—an emblem of the purity and elegance synonymous with Cassina.
In its most compact version, Treflo is supported by a single base inspired by the form of a clover. For the larger round version, three intertwining, infinity-shaped legs support the top, while the oval version rests on two elegant supports that uphold the surface with grace. The base, fluid and almost dancing, appears to drape upward toward the top, creating a harmonious balance of lightness and structural strength. The tabletop—offered in glossy or matte lacquer, or in undulating back-lacquered glass—amplifies this synergy with a richly tactile and refined presence. The back-lacquered glass variant channels the energy of the natural world: wave-like ripples reminiscent of water, achieved through high-temperature fusion and extended shaping processes. The result is a gently undulated surface with a soft, tapered edge—each piece a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
The base is made of rigid polyurethane, partially sourced from bio-based materials—an innovation for Cassina that merges aesthetics with environmental responsibility. Offered in both glossy and matte finishes, it reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to advanced and sustainable materials.
Treflo is available in a refined, monochromatic palette that highlights the harmony between base and top. The colour selection ranges from warm neutrals to deep midnight blue, Pinot Noir, terracotta red, and an elegant dark green—tones carefully echoed across glass, wood, and polyurethane for a cohesive and sophisticated finish.
