Guell sunbed is designed by Vincent Van Duysen for Molteni&C with structure in painted stainless steel and base in die-cast, extruded aluminium and profiles; wheels and ferrules in plastic material. The backrest allows for different inclinations. It can be made entirely of solid teak slats woven in polypropylene rope in the three colours anthracite, olive green and desert yellow.
Optional mattress padded in differentiated density shaped polyurethane and cover in waterproof polyester fibre, with upholstery in fabric.
The sun lounger Guell, the archetype par excellence of outdoor furniture, interprets all the elements that characterise the aesthetics of the Timeout Collection, re-proposing the theme of the burnished painted aluminium band, running along the entire profile, and the traditional motif of the polypropylene rope weave or with wooden slats that are the same width as those of the 6- or 8-seater table.
The lightweight aluminium frame and the wheel fitted to the backrest allow to easily move it. To ensure maximum safety, the wheel is positioned barely suspended, being activated only when the sunbed is raised; this detail, together with many others, underlines the design accuracy of the Collection.
In combination with Guell, the Timeout Collection offers an extensive range of products: in addition to Green Point seats, a two-cushion sofa in two sizes, also an armchair with generous proportions and a coffee table from the Phoenix family, the Golden Gate table, Regent coffee tables and Hyde ottoman.
