The Eri armchair is designed by the duo Fumie Shibata for Flexform with a shell made of rigid polyurethane coupled with expanded polyurethane, fully upholstered in leather; in fabric; or internally in fabric and externally in leather. The seat cushion is made of sterilized goose down (Assopiuma certified, gold label) with an insert of non-deformable material with differentiated density covered in a protective coupled fabric. Additionally, sterilized goose down backrest cushions are also available. The base comes in both solid turned Canaletto walnut and oak. The feet are made of die-cast zama with thermoplastic tips. The upholstery is completely removable in both leather and fabric versions.
The design of the Eri armchair is inspired by the elegantly raised collar of a jacket, shaping soft and sinuous lines that envelop the user in a comfortable embrace. This is made possible thanks to carefully designed construction features that ensure a satisfying sense of comfort. The textile and leather upholstery of the shell and cushions also allows for the most interesting combinations of colors, textures, and styles, offering customized and unique solutions for every furnishing need.
