Triton Counter/Bar Stool is designed by Clemens Weisshaar for ClassiCon with frame tubular steel, powder-coated with fine texture in black or chrome-plated or copperplated, with clear varnish, seat polyurethane, colour-lacquered, or covered in bend leather, hook for bag in frame colour, plastic gliders in black.
Passionate bar hoppers are familiar with this common dilemma: bar stools either look good or they are comfortable – but rarely both at the same time. Triton has finally succeeded in reconciling this supposed contradiction. Thanks to its anatomically formed seat, it is unusually comfortable. But it also exudes a surprisingly uncomplicated self- assurance – and comes in a host of surface and colour variations to harmonise with a wide range of decorating concepts.
The Munich born designer Clemens Weisshaar originally trained as a metal worker – and then studied product design, among others at the London Royal College of Art. His works were added to internationally renowned design collections, including the MoMA and Centre Pompidou.
