To mark the 60th anniversary of the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret®, Charlotte Perriand® collection—originally launched in 1965 following the acquisition of rights in 1964—Cassina introduces a sustainable reissue of the iconic LC3 armchair -3 Fauteuil Grand Confort, Grand Modèle, Durable 60.
The armchair retains its essential frame, designed to cradle the "basket-style" cushions, in line with the rationalist principles that clearly and functionally separate structure from padding. The tone-on-tone finish enhances the visual presence of the piece, highlighting its proportions and materials while preserving the original spirit of the 1928 design by the pioneering trio.
Elegant and architecturally precise, this edition is ideal for contemporary living spaces. Available in red, blue, or green, the Durable 60 will be offered exclusively through September 30, 2026, as a modern tribute to a design icon now part of the MoMA collection.
