Le Cupole table is designed by Francesco Meda e David Lopez Quincoces for Acerbis with base made of marble domes—machined from solid marble with a polished finish—or painted aluminum. The base components are joined together using a spacer and brass screws. The tabletop is available in glossy painted aluminum or marble with a matte polyester finish, attached to the base via a steel plate painted in matte black or white. A single-material version is available with both the base and tabletop in Marquinia or Calacatta marble; the tabletop and base can also be paired in a glossy lacquer finish; the marble tabletop can be paired with either a glossy or matte base.
A sculptural interpretation of pure geometry, Le Cupole is a round marble table that balances materiality and form in perfect harmony. Its design centers on a base formed by three carved marble domes, which uphold the top with quiet strength, creating a dialogue between stability and visual lightness. The domes’ soft curves and fluid lines introduce a symmetrical dynamism, turning the table into a visually striking, tactile object.
Every detail is meticulously considered: the rounded surfaces interact with refined brass accents, enhancing the composition and emphasizing its aesthetic refinement. The contrast between the stone’s material solidity and the design’s understated elegance creates a compelling interplay of mass and void, structure and surface—where precise proportions elevate the overall sense of harmony.
