Promenade Lounge armchair is designed by Philippe Nigro for Wiener GTV Design with Canaletto walnut frame, with square-section profiles and back panels upholstered in fabric or Vienna straw on the upper part. Cushions padded with differentiated density polyurethane foam, goose down, and polyester, with a removable covering in fabric or leather.
This lounge chair is conceived as a complementary furnishing element, completing the homonymous sofa collection from which it draws its characteristics. The design of the Promenade armchair is inspired by the minimalism and attention to detail of the Vienna Secession, an artistic movement of the last century, and stands out for its strong decorative language. Philippe Nigro has taken inspiration from the processing of wood with a square cross-section, first used in 1906 for the "Postsparkasse" series, and creates an exposed structure with profiles in walnut that envelops a spacious and welcoming seat, complemented by generous cushions.
The decoration of the structure is enriched by the backrest upholstered in fabric or with Vienna straw in the upper band. The Promenade Lounge armchair represents a new concept of softness for refined domestic environments.
