Drop Paper Lamp floor Lamp is designed by Time & Style ēdition with black powder-coated steel legs and a steel shade lined with traditional Japanese paper (washi). Compatible with E26/E27 LED bulbs, it comes with an inline cord dimmer. Available in three sizes.
Originally created to shape the ambiance of the refined K5 boutique hotel in Tokyo—designed by the renowned architecture firm Claesson Koivisto Rune inside a historic city building—the Drop Paper Lamp collection blends contemporary design with the timeless soul of Japanese craftsmanship. Each lamp is crafted using the traditional technique of Suifu lanterns and features exquisite Echizen washi paper, a craft dating back over 1,500 years. Made from the long, resilient fibers of the Japanese mulberry tree—historically used to dress traditional architectural elements like byobu folding screens and fusuma sliding doors—the paper diffuses a soft, warm, and inviting glow. This delicate light distribution transforms any space into a haven of harmony and serenity, bringing the profound elegance of Japanese living culture into contemporary interiors.
