Description: The desk M45, design by Marcel Breuer for Tecta, is a reproduction of the original project which was presented in 1932 at the Werkbundausstellung in Neubuhl.

The desk features an ash top stained black, supported by a chrome column with an adjustable swivelling black plate. The steel drawer cabinet is on castors with a black glass top and four alternating black and white drawers (1 with lock, 1 for hanging files).

Marcel Breuer is considered to be one of the fathers of Modernism. As one of the students and teachers at the Bauhaus school, Breuer focused on the integration of technology, materials and art. During his career he was an architect, teacher and furniture designer. Breuer is famous for number of furniture designs, though perhaps no chair design is more famous than his Wassily Chair, Laccio Table, and Cesca Chair.
