D40 chair designed by Marcel Breuer for Tecta is based on the original design of 1928.

Cantilever chair with frame in nickel plated steel tube and with armrests in natural or black beech.

Seat and backrest in natural cane, iron yarn, saddle-leather, fabric or leather with black Cora on backside.

Made in Germany by Tecta.  Licensed reproductions of Bauhaus Designs by Tecta are approved by the Bauhaus Archive in Berlin and carry the signet "Original Bauhaus Modell".
