Sixte chair is designed by Christophe Pillet for Porro with curved tubular metal frame in iron or polished silver finish; cushions with different density padding and leather or fabric upholstery. Available with or without armrests.
The Sixte dining chair fits elegantly into Porro's creative landscape, enriching any room with its unmistakable Parisian charm and a new interpretation of comfort. Inspired by the iconic metal chairs of the Bauhaus school, including the Lariana chair and the famous small chairs designed by Giuseppe Terragni for the Sant'Elia kindergarten in Como, Sixte pays homage to rationalist architecture, repurposing early experiments in tubular curvature and cantilever seating. The result is a perfect synthesis of simplicity and functionality.
Its sled base, made of curved tubular steel, creates a fluid, continuous line in space, supporting two generously contoured, curved upholstered cushions that make up the seat and backrest. These elements are available in soft leather or high-quality fabric, finished with exposed tailoring stitching that enhances the attention to detail.
Sixte is a celebration of the tactility of materials and the balance between fluidity and sophistication, with a retro allure that is perfectly suited to both residential and contract settings. Ideal for creating a convivial atmosphere, this chair is synonymous with casual comfort and sophisticated style.
Not just a dining chair: Sixte evolves into a complete collection with the addition of the armchair with armrests, designed to adapt with versatility to different environments, from home living to hospitality, always maintaining a chic and modern touch.
