Archibald stool is designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for Poltrona Frau with solid ash wood frame finished in wenge or moka. Backrest shell made of rigid molded polyurethane, seat crafted from birch plywood with soft polyurethane padding and polyester wadding, upholstered in fabric or leather. Footrest in stainless steel with a rectangular section, polished to a mirror finish on three sides and brushed on the top. Available in two different seat heights.
The Archibald stool collection expands the renowned and now iconic Archibald seating family, first introduced by Jean-Marie Massaud in 2009. These stools are distinguished by the balance between clean lines and soft shapes. The bases, available in solid ash wood or metal (for the column model), feature slender, elegant profiles, while the enveloping seat is upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric, providing superior comfort. This combination of materials and forms gives the stools a sophisticated yet relaxed appearance, making them suitable for a variety of settings.
The versatility of the Archibald stools allows them to blend seamlessly into both classic and contemporary interiors, adding a touch of understated elegance.
