Albero bookcase is designed by Gianfranco Frattini for Poltrona Frau. Available in the special Albero GFF 100 reissue, which celebrates the centenary of Gianfranco Frattini’s birth, with a supporting structure in Canaletto walnut with an American Walnut Brown finish; two serrated pillars, with a special rack-and-pinion joint, and four uprights with evenly spaced holes for mounting the 12 medium-density fibreboard shelves veneered in Santos rosewood. Brass screws and feet, and a cup in antiqued burnished steel.
The upper foot is inserted into a ‘cup’ anchored to the ceiling; the lower foot ensures a secure grip on the floor via a non-slip rubber pad. The bookcase is secured by means of four metal ring nuts fitted to the fixing feet.
A brass plaque indicating the anniversary edition is affixed to the lower pillar.
