Kiori is a screen with a sinuous and sophisticated design. Its solid sassafras wood frame is enhanced by a handcrafted weave in Conwood, an exclusive Paola Lenti material. This innovative covering is composed of thin strips of Abonos™ elm wood, bonded to a cork support that provides both flexibility and exceptional durability. At the heart of Conwood lies Abonos™, a rare river-sourced wood that has spent millennia submerged in water, undergoing a natural transformation through the action of sediments such as gravel, sand, and clay. This extraordinary process gives each log unique characteristics, making it highly prized for its one-of-a-kind color variations and exceptional hardness and longevity.
Thanks to its modular design, multiple Kiori elements can be placed side by side without the need for fixed connections, allowing for versatile and customizable compositions.
