The Kiori sofa is designed by Francesco Rota for Paola Lenti with structure in natural sassafras heartwood, seating surface in AISI 316 steel with elastic belts and plastic spacers. The structure is covered with a fixed, woven by hand with Conwood, consisting of strips of ash wood Abonos™ paired with a cork support that makes them elastic yet resistant. Both the structure and the Conwood covering are treated with a water-based hydro-oil repellent finish to limit the absorption of liquids and greasy substances. The removable seat and back cushions are made of polyester fiber, stress resistant polyurethane insert, fixed foam cover in waterproofed polyester. The Kiori collection includes armchairs and sofas in two and three-seater versions, and a room divider.
