2025 Archiproducts Design Awards
On November 6th, 2025, Milan once again confirmed its status as the world capital of high-end design and furniture, hosting the gala evening of the tenth edition of the Archiproducts Design Awards (ADA) at the iconic Superstudio Più in Via Tortona. This legendary venue, in the heart of the Tortona Design District, has long been a crossroads for international creativity and experimentation, a place where new languages of architecture and design take shape. Over the years, countless cultural and trade events have transformed the former industrial area into a true laboratory of innovation and style.
The ADA Night 2025 gathered designers, brands, architects, journalists, and opinion leaders from around the world, spotlighting design excellence, technological innovation, and commitment to environmental sustainability. With its sophisticated industrial atmosphere, Superstudio once again proved the ideal stage to celebrate creativity and foster lasting connections among professionals, encouraging dialogue across cultures, ideas, and trends.
The tenth edition of the Archiproducts Design Awards not only captured the best of global design practices but also served as a prestigious showcase for cutting-edge products and solutions shaping luxury residential, commercial, and public interiors.
An international jury of architects, designers, and creative professionals assigned the 2025 Awards across three main categories: Brand, Designer, and Sustainability, recognizing the most outstanding products in furniture, lighting, bathroom, outdoor, décor, finishes, construction, kitchen, office, contract, wellness, tech & lifestyle, systems, materials, and components.
The most anticipated award of the evening, Designer of the Year, went to Elisa Ossino — Sicilian-born architect and designer, educated at the Politecnico di Milano and now one of the most influential figures on both the Italian and international design scenes.
Ossino is celebrated for her refined and essential aesthetic, a poetic interplay of geometric abstraction, surrealist references, and metaphysical balance. Her work stands out for the ability to establish unprecedented relationships between light, objects, and space — with interior and product design projects admired worldwide.
Founder of Elisa Ossino Studio, she has worked on residential, retail, art direction, and installation projects, earning numerous accolades including the EDIDA – Elle Deco International Design Awards and multiple listings among AD’s Top 100 Interior Designers.
Her visionary leadership and continuous experimentation — often in collaboration with iconic Made in Italy brands — make her a leading voice in contemporary interior design. In 2025, her “Montebello” door for Scrigno won in the Finishes category, a testament to her ability to blend aesthetics, material innovation, and narrative value in every project.
Another major highlight of the evening was Marco Sammicheli, who received the Design Culture Award for his outstanding contribution as curator and director of the Museo del Design Italiano at the Triennale Milano, as well as for his curatorial and scholarly work documenting the careers of some of the most influential masters of international design.
Sammicheli’s commitment to promoting Italian identity and excellence abroad — while fostering global dialogue and cultural understanding — makes him an inspiring figure for the new generation of creatives and design scholars.
The symbolic value of the Archiproducts Design Awards is reflected in its trophies, which each year experiment with new materials and production techniques — embodying the identity of partner companies and the ongoing evolution of design itself.
The brand trophy, designed by De Castelli, was once again crafted from AISI 304 steel, inspired by the Möbius strip — a versatile symbol of infinity — where two surfaces, one polished and one satin, intertwine in an elegant play of reflections and shadows.
The designer trophy, created by Salvatori and designed by Michael Anastassiades, takes the form of a monolithic block of Crema d’Orcia Classic marble, chosen for its soft texture and distinctive natural veining — making each piece unique.
The Sustainability Award trophy, crafted from Lebanese cedar wood by Riva 1920 and AMDL Circle, draws inspiration from the hexagonal geometry of the ADA logo. Its circular base rising upward symbolizes virtuous growth and the ecological cycle of matter.
Archiproducts Design Awards: A Reflection of Global Trends
A decade after its debut, the ADA has established itself as both a premier stage and a true “observatory” of design evolution on a global scale. Each edition captures a snapshot of the latest creative frontiers, illustrating the convergence of disciplines, cultures, materials, and technologies — and offering a multifaceted vision of contemporary excellence.
The gala at Superstudio Più is not only the culmination of an international selection featuring over 800 entries from around the world, but also a unique networking hub where brands, designers, clients, and audiences meet — creating new opportunities for global exposure and collaboration.
The Archiproducts Design Awards’ ability to anticipate trends, foster creative partnerships, and influence brand and consumer choices makes it an invaluable event for all those engaged in the luxury design and contemporary architecture sector — from architects and interior designers to buyers and design enthusiasts alike.
