Mangiafuoco coffee table designed by Zanellato e Bortotto for Moroso with a cylindrical base in solid oak or Canaletto walnut and a handcrafted top made from a copper-alloy sheet. The surface is created through a process in which multiple layers of glass granules and metal oxides are applied and fired at high temperatures until full vitrification is achieved. The top is available in three different finishes for each size: Ø 35 coffee table in Neptune, Uranus, and Mars finishes; Ø 45 coffee table in Saturn, Jupiter, and Venus finishes.
Within the Mangiafuoco coffee table collection, a simple material such as copper is transformed into a key element of contemporary design. Through a refined handcrafted process, the tabletops are coated with glass powders and fired at high temperatures, resulting in striking chromatic effects and vibrant reflections that shift with every change of perspective. The glazing expresses a dialogue between technique and the human hand, where unique layers and color transitions emerge from a delicate balance between precise control and the unpredictability of chemical reactions. Each piece becomes one of a kind, with subtle imperfections that enhance its aesthetic depth and expressive strength, lending the space a distinctive character without overwhelming it.
Mangiafuoco coffee tables are small works of art, capable of transforming interiors through an essential, elegant presence that is at once refined and emotionally engaging.
