Pagoda coffe table is designed by David Lopez Quincoces for Living Divani with 50‑mm MDF tops veneered in Canaletto walnut, charcoal‑stained oak, or Stone Oak®, finished with a water‑based coating. Bevelled edges matte black scratch‑resistant lacquered or glossy lacquered in the collection’s colours. Base in matte black scratch‑resistant lacquered MDF, supports the three tops through plastic brackets and sliding guides in extruded aluminium. Two of the tops are sliding, opening to the right or left, while the central top remains fixed.
Unveiled as a preview at the 2026 Salone del Mobile, Pagoda reimagines the concept of a coffee table as a dynamic, sculptural composition. Its design is built on the refined interplay of overlapping and shifting planes, intersecting and balancing with millimetric precision to transcend the static nature of traditional tables. This project masterfully interprets everyday living through a functional structure that allows the surfaces to glide fluidly over one another, echoing the harmonious lines of the Eastern architectures that inspire it.
The movement of the volumes not only transforms the table’s aesthetic presence but also allows the usable surface to adapt to the needs of the living space, making Pagoda a true focal point of the room. Each top is defined by an elegant bevelled profile that visually lightens its substantial thickness, while the chromatic contrast between the wood veneers and the lacquered edges highlights a bold, contemporary graphic silhouette.
