The Pukka armchair is designed by Yabu Pushelberg for Ligne Roset with structure in high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam with ultra-flexible polyurethane foam clad and fabric cover. With or without ottoman, available in two sizes.
The armchair without armrests Pukka is part of the homonymous collection designed by Yabu & Pushelberg in 2020,a little marvel of design, which finds its roots in the great C&B period (Cassina & Busnelli) a company that, from the beginning, was committed to find and use innovative technologies that would favor large-scale production. The UP50 collection by Gaetano Pesce, presented in 1969, used injection moulding and fit perfectly into this philosophy. UP50 was inspired by the structure of the bath sponge that, once squeezed always returns to its original shape and the designers Yabu & Pushelberg wanted to take this idea by adding a more feminine design, soft and organic to create a comfortable piece of furniture that decorates the environment in a sensual way. The detail of the stitching, the use of ultra-flexible foams and the tension of its lines required the search for the perfect fabric for the covering, which was only possible with the use of very stretchiest fabrics such as velvet wool Gentle or similar.
The Pukka armchair can be completed with a matching ottoman which is available in two sizes and allows you to make the most of the space available. The armchair can be used in combination with the sofa, for an even more effective result.
