Favn JH3 sofa is designed by Jaime Hayon for Fritz Hansen with a structure divided into two parts, a base and a back shell, both with an embedded steel frame and both made from hard polyurethane foam and glass fibre reinforcement, covered with a soft layer of polyurethane foam and wadding. Brushed aluminium legs with an upholstered part matching the base and felt glide protection.
Seat and back cushions are padded in hard polyurethane foam and the two loose decorative cushions are made of low resilience memory polyurethane foam; with fabric cover.
Favn, in Danish means embrace, and that's how the sofa looks like with its open and rounded shapes.
The sofa is available in a wide range of textiles and you can also mix of up to three textiles: one for the shell and base, a second one for the seat and back cushions and third one for the small decorative cushions that are included. You can follow the Designer's tips and choose the black, light grey or light pink selection or you can play with Fritz Hansen fabrics and colours and have your unique Favn sofa.
