The Ginger chaise longue is designed by Antonio Citterio for Flexform with a structure in chrome-plated or burnished metal tubing and a leather-covered wooden bar with harmonic steel springs, supported by feet in thermoplastic material. The pivoting side table is integrated into the structure and is made of wood covered in leather, in the same finish as the bar. The seat is made of metal with a polyurethane foam insert of differentiated density, padded with polyester fiber covered with protective coupled fabric. The back cushion is made of sterilized goose down (Assopiuma certified, gold label) and optional cushions can be added. The leather or fabric cover, featuring a grosgrain profile, is fully removable.
Designed by Antonio Citterio in 1984, this extraordinary piece of design is being reintroduced today due to its great contemporary relevance, capable of combining timeless formal elegance with a very high level of comfort. The metal structure, the result of skillful design, is characterized by a sinuous ergonomics that perfectly follows the natural lines of the body, ensuring optimal support and an exceptional user experience. Additionally, the practical and refined pivoting table allows you to conveniently place a book, a cup of coffee, or any other object, thus offering an additional level of functionality and practicality.
