Lou Read armchair, design by Philippe Starck & Eugenie Quitlet for Driade has an organic, anthropomorphic outline. It is conceived with leather directly fixed onto a fiberglass skeleton, with a high neck and short arms. The dominant and elegant shape of this creation remind a throne.

The French designer Philippe Starck designed Lou Read armchair as part of a collection for Paris's Royal Monceau Hotel. This project was developed for the Italian furniture company Driade.
