Bruno Rainaldi on Classicdesign.it
Born in Milan in 1952, Bruno Rainaldi has trained on the field, starting from a very young age to work in design's communication. In the mid-80s he founded and became creative director of Studio Rari, and started to collaborate with major Italian design companies such as Alivar, Casprini, MDF Italy, Mussi Italy, Sintesi, Slamp, Terzani, etv. In the same years the meeting with the Ciatti family is the beginning of an important personal and artistic partnership that will lead to the birth of CCR first and, in 2006 with a young Lapo Ciatti, of Opinion Ciatti, of which he has became president, partner and artistic director.
With irony he described himself as a “street designer” and his style as “chaotically rigorous”; amongst the numerous pieced designed there is the Ptolomeo bookshelf, for which, in 2004, he was awarded the Compasso d’Oro.
