The 545 Montparnasse table is designed by Charlotte Perriand for Cassina with a solid canaletto walnut or black-stained ash wood top and legs in a low gloss finish.
Created in 1938 by Charlotte Perriand for her atelier in the eponymous Parisian district, the Table Montparnasse represents a masterpiece of functional and aesthetic design that revolutionized the very concept of the table. Montparnasse belongs to the series of tables «en forme libre», a collection designed to optimize space usage through innovative, unconventional, and asymmetrical shapes. Cassina brings this extraordinary design icon to light, of which only seven examples were made between the 1940s and 1950s, continuing a revolutionary legacy.
