Sail Out 478 sofa is designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Cassina with tubular metal structure with protective outdoor finish, plastic staves and teak panels with natural finish. The padding and cushions are made of polyurethane foam, SoloSoff and wadding covered with water-repellent fabric. Upholstery is in outdoor fabric finished with a grey gros-grain profile or in the same color as the sofa. The armrest/side table is in natural teak and the floor support is on plastic feet.

The modular outdoor sofa Sail Out offers total versatility in the realization of various combinations, through three different seating modules (5, 6 or 7 bands) and related elements to match: teak coffee table, armrest and back in two heights. The skilful tailoring ability is in details such as the grosgrain profile and in the pockets sewn individually within which is placed the precious and comfortable removable padding.
The holiday style of the 50s is manifested in Sail Out through lively and youthful details that allude to the soft shape of inflatable canvas mats and that reveal pleasant summer memories.
