The uniqueness of each piece is guaranteed by a plaque indicating the year of the project, its sequential production number, the Cassina logo and signature of the artist, Gaetano Pesce.
The Tramonto in New York screen, is one of the novelties presented by Cassina at the Salone del Mobile 2022 and it is inspired by the iconic and homonymous sofa. Gaetano Pesce, the designer, once again, wants to represent the moment when the sun sets on the skyscrapers of New York - city that never sleeps - recreating the profile of the city with the semi-transparent polyurethane resin. The striking shades in vibrant colors ranging from purple and blue to pink and green and to the vivid red of the round sun are reproduced layer by layer with a complex handmade process, which makes each piece unique and never equal to the previous one.
