Balla screen is designed by Giacomo Balla and re-edited by Cassina with a structure of three panels in honeycomb wood with fir frame covered by MDF, a paper honeycomb. The hinges are in satin brass, produced directly by Cassina and the feet are in black plastic.
Cassina, in collaboration with the heirs of Giacomo Balla, brings this accessory to life in the Cassina iMaestri collection, based on an original sketch of the artist with tempera and pencil. The Balla screen is a screen consisting of three panels of different heights and widths, which thanks to the hinges, can be moved freely.
The silk-screen decoration applied on both sides is available in two versions: with an orange background in yellow and green, originally from Balla’s sketch and with a white background in blue and green. Thanks to the exponent of the Futurist movement and Cassina, it is possible to enrich the domestic spaces with a strong artistic imprint, creating a dynamic game of shapes and colors.
