Explorer dining table designed by Jaime Hayon for BD Barcelona with internal steel frame with a painted finish, fibreglass structure with a glossy lacquered coating, and top in MDF with a matte Fenix finish or tempered glass, painted depending on the selected model: Beige or Pearl Grey. This dining table collection stems from the evolution of the original Explorer side tables, first introduced by Jaime Hayon in 2019, which quickly won over design enthusiasts worldwide. The concept lies in a delicate balance between a playful, almost childlike aesthetic, and a refined, mature sophistication. The rounded silhouette of the tabletop merges seamlessly with the central leg, creating an almost organic volume and ensuring maximum seating freedom from any angle. The wing-shaped steel base adds an aerodynamic quality that makes the table appear visually light, while ensuring stability and structural strength.
The Explorer collection comes in four tabletop diameters to suit both intimate dining rooms and larger living spaces, with a vibrant yet refined color palette ranging from pastel shades to deeper, more intense tones. The line remains true to the values of charm, elegance, and personality that defined the original Explorer side tables, while new additions such as sideboards and vases have further expanded its furnishing possibilities.
