The Pianoalto modular sofa is designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for Zanotta with a steel frame, elastic strap suspension, polyurethane padding in varying densities combined with Du Pont Dacron, a quilted goose-down insert, and a removable cover in Teatro velvet. The feet are made of graphite-coloured painted steel.
