Gilda CM armchair, design by Carlo Mollino for Zanotta with frame, legs and armrests made of natural or black varnished oak, or in natural Canaletto walnut. The blacknickel satin finished brass metal components used for the hardware makes for a pleasant contrast with the wooden structure, which is of a significantly lighter shade. The seat and back cushion are upholstered with polyurethane Dacron DuPont covered in fabric or leather. The back is adjustable in four different positions, ensuring maximum comfort and a relaxing experience.
The contrast between the upholstering, the leather cover of the internal body and the minimalist wood structure endow the Gilda armchair with a particular balance in the distribution of weights. Thus, the chair is at the same time austere and inviting. Designed in 1954, this is a classic piece of the 20th Century.
