Hal Soft Tube chair is designed by Jasper Morrison for Vitra with four-legged tubular steel base with chrome-plated or powder-coated basic dark finish, seat shell in glass-fibre reinforced polyamide padded in polyurethane foam and cover in fabric. Available with glides for carpet or felt glides for hard floor. Also available in stackable version.

 

HAL is Jasper Morrison’s interpretation of a shell chair in the tradition of the Plastic Chair by Charles and Ray Eames, whose variety of diff erent bases enables versatile use – from dining tables to meeting rooms, from bars to auditoriums. The many diff erent chair bases can be combined either with a seat shell in plastic (HAL and HAL RE) or plywood (HAL Ply), or with a lightly padded shell covered in fabric (HAL Soft). The padded upholstery of HAL Soft provides superb comfort, with rounded contours that soften the appearance of the characteristic HAL shell. Also available in the Hal Soft Wood version with oak wood base.
