Proiezioni round table is designed by Elisa Ossino for Salvatori with top in Bianco Carrara with base in Nero Marquinia or with top in Cipollino with base in Verde Alpi. The top is also available with circle or slices inlay in the same finish of the base.
A series of coffee and dining tables by Elisa Ossino for Salvatori, ‘Proiezioni’ takes its name from the Italian for ‘projections’ and refers to the effect of light on stone. The patterns created by inlaying different shades of stone evoke the idea of an invisible cinema with shafts of light creating a play of shadows and shapes.
Each table appears as a sculpture, emphasised by the truncated-column form of the legs supporting the table top with its geometric figures characterised by simple lines which in turn are followed by others with an amplified effect resulting from the graduation of shade. Those colours are combinations of natural stone: the result is a game of association between shapes which take on a three-dimensional quality and their illusory two dimensional projection, enhancing the extraordinary chiaroscuro quality of the stone.
