Available in a round and oval version, the Balnea bathtub is the epitome of art-meets-furniture. The starting point is a large block of natural stone which is carved with extraordinary care and skill to achieve an optical contrast whereby the heavy material emits a sense of softness and lightness.
The sensitivity and sculptural quality of natural stone is explored in the Balnea collection by Elisa Ossino. Comprising a series of washbasins, modular storage pieces, shower trays and grand monolithic bathtubs, Balnea plays on the immenseness and grandeur of stone, tempered with the designer’s trademark lightness of touch and artful use of simple geometric forms.
