Thea armchair is designed by Adam D. Tihany for Roda with structure in aluminium painted in smoke or rust finish, and with seat and back cushions covered in outdoor fabric with standard or water-draining padding.
Adam Tihany meets RODA and creates an inviting, contemporary outdoor seating collection inspired by lines and shapes found in nature. THEA consists of a two-seater sofa, an armchair, and coffee tables with round tops, in two sizes. The name of the collection, THEA, comes from Calathea indeed, a plant that grows in South America and is known for its beautiful striped leaves. The pattern characterising the structure of the THEA modules, in fact, has been inspired by these leaves and is a distinctive element of their design.
