Canal Briccola table is designed by Patricia Urquiola for Riva 1920 in Briccola wood; four legs with a geometrical section and top in solid Briccola planks, not glued, with straight sides and with a central iron compartment, in various finishes, to store objects.
The Canal Briccola table retains the main features of the classic version of the Canal table designed by Patricia Urquiola: modern design, four legs that seem to support the top with a game of equilibrium, the central iron channel useful to increase the functionality of the table.
This version is reproduced using the wood of the Venetian Briccole, those poles which lead the boats and mark the Lagoon low tide. Riva 1920 has decided to grant this wood a third life by launching a collection of furniture made of Briccole; submerged in water and tempered by salt, exposed to the weather and sculpted by shipworms, this high quality oak becomes in the course of time a wood absolutely unique, precious, romantic and noble.
